Our host families attend regular workshops in how to offer assistance in case of illness or cultural shock.

They are willing to provide homework assistance and help getting around the homework neighborhood. Students can learn where to pursue their interests and can develop new pastimes, as well.

Our teaching program is based on modern research in Second Language Acquisition. Language learning is not only a product of habit, nor does speaking necessarily guarantee communication. Consequently, CENAC offers meaningful learning activities that motivate learners to participate in real life conversations

Our language program is not centered on mechanical drills. Our teaching methods do not separate content from grammar. We understand that memorizing verb conjugations (although helpful) does not produce communication. CENAC utilizes methodology based on up to date research from Second Language Acquisition scholars associated with prestigious universities around the world. Learners are asked to produce the target language only when they have developed the skills to be able to do so. Therefore, the first step in our program is to assess the skill level of each student and then create conversations in which each student participates.
